Pop!

I'm a big fan of soda pop...Coca Cola!

This is such a refreshing way during the "cocktail hour" for your guests to cool down while they wait for the lovely bride and groom to make their grand entrance. Great for a daytime/outdoor summer wedding! Bring on the flexi straws!

Yellow.

Jessica's wedding was a hit! It was great to catch up with old friends and make new ones! Jessica looked darling and our dresses...can definitely be shortened!

30 min till "I do".

We were up at 8:30am getting ready!

Sealed with a bow.

Oh la la!

I loooove this lovely wedding dress. I came across it on a great blog (Cup of Joe) It's so gorgeous and sweet! My favorite is the drop back sealed with a bow at the waist. My goodness!

Ready for my close-up.

Today I met w/ my friend, Seh and his wife, Chris to discuss photos for my invites. I am so thrilled about how these photos are going to turn out. First of all Seh is a great photographer. He does a lot of portraits and it was just recently I viewed a few of his product shots and I had to ask him to take my invite photos. What's even better is Chris has a designer/graphic designer background so she had a lot of great ideas for layouts and she knew what I was looking for!

I wish I could show you some of the test shots that were taken bc even those were awesome! BUT I will debut those once done (in a few weeks)!

Going to the chapel.

Going to see my dear friend Jessica get married!

I've known Jessica since college and she's always been a free-spirit! When she called me last December to be a bridesmaid in her wedding, I was thrilled! We've kept in touch via email and phone after graduation, but this will be the first time I've seen her since I left Tallahassee.

In less than 48 hours I'll be soaking in the Fla sun in Tampa and it'll be the start of a fun-filled, bahlorette frenzy, wedded-bliss long weekend!

p.s.

I will post photos next week upon my return! Can't wait to show you photos of our bridesmaids dress! This is definitely one that can be shortened and worn again!

Nothin' is better than the South.

I'm hosting a small dinner party at my place and decided to take a chance and make it a southern style dinner! Being from the south, I'm not new to what all goes into the Southern Hospitality dishes.Whichever friend that has a southern inspired wedding, THAT will be the first for me! You can never go wrong w/ fried chicken, biscuits, and SWEET TEA!

Nice day for a White weddin'.

Over the weekend I was able to be a part of another amazing wedding. I couldn't believe the day for Raquel (now Mrs. White) to marry the love of her life finally arrived! It was a busy 8 months for her and I'm glad she's now able to relax in the Jamaican sun!

She looked gorgeous and flawless. She had a glow around her the whole day!

Raq gave me the privilege of making all of the bouquet's for the big day. She chose hydrangeas for her flowers which is always a good choice. Hydrangeas remind me of hundreds of little butterflies fluttering in the air in er...flocks? (would that be what you would call a group of butterflies?). They come in stem bunches which is fantastic bc you don't need very many stems to make a decent size bouquet! She also had 11 white roses and a few mini green hydrageas to add to her all white arrangement. The bride is always supposed to steal the show, and Raquel definately did just that!

Raquel, minutes after she said "I Do"!
